Information for Americans Abroad
My office stands ready to assist the individuals and families abroad who have not been able to return to the United States due to international travel restrictions in response to the coronavirus. We have already received requests for assistance and are working directly with the Department of State to coordinate those efforts to bring home Americans, including through commercial flights, chartered flightd, and military transport.
Any American abroad who needs assistence should contact their local U.S. embassy and register with the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program, available here or by calling 1-888-407-4747.
To initiate casework through our office to help coordinate efforts with the Department of State, please contact Janna Worsham (Janna.Worsham@mail.house.gov), who serves as the primary point of contact for cases related to American nationals abroad. In order to speed-up the process, please have this privacy release form filled out and ready to send to Janna.
