Hartzler on Executive Order
WASHINGTON—Rep. Vicky Hartzler (R-Mo.) issued the regarding President Trump’s Executive Order on protecting the nation from foreign terrorist entry into the United States.
“I am pleased to see the President’s commitment to prioritizing the safety and security of the American people while addressing the issues that were problematic with the first executive order. I said then the White House needed to accommodate green card holders and those who have already been through an extensive vetting process, and this new order clarifies these points. While we continue to provide refuge for the world's vulnerable, we must do so while prioritizing Americans’ safety and well-being.”
Hartzler represents Missouri’s Fourth Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. She serves on the House Armed Services and Agriculture Committees.
