Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler (MO-4) and the U.S. House have approved the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, legislation that would prohibit abortion after a child reaches 20 weeks gestation – the age at which medical evidence indicates an unborn child has the capacity to feel pain during an abortion.
The U.S. House has approved the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) previously passed by Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler (MO-4) and her colleagues on the House Armed Services Committee (HASC). The legislation protects America’s national defense while providing for our men and women in uniform. Fittingly, the NDAA passed the House on Flag Day.
